Rob graduated with a masters in Aerospace Engineering. He trained with KPMG LLP and became a qualified ACA accountant working in the audit department for 5 years with clients operating under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), UK Generally Accepted Accounting Practices (UK GAAP) and US Generally Accepted Accounting Practices (US GAAP) with a portfolio ranging from small owner managed businesses to high profile large multinational listed organizations. In 2015 he moved to Los Angeles and joined KPMG Deal Advisory where he became a PE focused TMT specialist. Rob has a proven track record of leading and quarterbacking large, complex, cross-functional engagements across the globe for both large and mid-sized PE accounts and their portfolio companies (buy-side and sell-side). During his time working at KPMG Rob has teamed with various internal groups including Tax, Strategy, DAS Analytics, AAS, and EVS but also worked alongside other third-party providers to his clients.Buy-side focus includes pre-acquisition due diligence, evaluating commercial, financial, operational, accounting and tax aspects of transactions; assisting with transaction documents, purchase price adjustments, merger integration/transition, and post-acquisition accounting and reporting.
