I am responsible for contractor compliance with all requirements related to design, manufacturing, repair, overhaul, and modernization of the F-35 aircraft. Responsible for identifying, understanding, measuring and analyzing contractor production process capability. I perform independent product and quality surveillance in the form of Mandatory Government Inspections (MGI), Component End Item Inspections (CEII), product audits, first article inspection, contractor inspection system verification, and process reviews incorporating statistical data analysis techniques and risk based surveillance methodologies; Contract surveillance in the form of Contract Technical Review (CTR) along with Government Contract Quality Assurance (GCQA) technical reviews on fixed rate and cost plus contract; Performs data analyses on contractor quality metrics to trend and identify improvement opportunities in support of a non-conforming material control; evaluates contractors conformance plan as required ensuring performance and scheduling metrics are maintained. Recommend and make adjustments to Government verification, determine extent of corrective action required by the contractor and determine acceptability of products and contractor systems based on data interpreted. Monitors contractor Material Review Board (MRB) activities; Initiates Corrective Action Requests (CARs), along with coordinating, reviewing, and approving contractor Corrective Action Plans (CAPs).
