In September of 2012, I began working for the YMCA of Greater Toledo. I began as a member service leader at the metro branch of the YMCA. As a member service leader, I was highly involved in consumer relations and customer service. I routinely worked with the executive officers to schedule meetings with various members of the community, from business owners to local and state politicians. In September 2013, I transferred to the Summit YMCA branch in Toledo. At the Summit YMCA, I was given the title of Building Specialist. As a building specialist, I worked with the maintenance, cleaning, and member service staffs. I was in charge of inventory control for the maintenance and cleaning crews, and would order supplies when necessary. I would preform routine maintenance such as changing a multitude of light bulbs, clearing driveways and sidewalks of snow, replace broken lockers, and various other duties. I was also an integrative part of the member service team. As part of the member service team, I was involved with greeting members, giving information to perspective members, processing various payments and ensure each and every member had the best experience they could have at the YMCA.
