To do this we partner with Google's various product areas, data scientists, and finance teams to develop right-sized forecasts that will ensure Google's network will be there when our users need it the most.

I was responsible for planning global capacity of Google's production networks. This includes ingesting both short and long term demand data, running network simulations on varying topologies, and producing a global network build plan that is both on time and capable of meeting the ever increasing user demands on Google's network. In addition, I provided technical project support to software engineering teams responsible for developing and refining the software used in this process. With the goal of allowing for faster capacity signals while improving the accuracy of our network's build plans.

Dallas/Fort Worth Area

I was the North and South America Lead for the build plan for Google's network deployment. I was responsible for ingesting large and diverse sets of traffic data, capacity data and network topologies to create a build plan that meets the ever growing demands of Google's global network. This included collaborating with a diverse set of teams across Google to effectively communicate that plan for an on time and cost effective deployment.

Louisville, Kentucky Area

The team's technical lead responsible for the design and creation of the Google Fiber network in Louisville, KY. I gathered data, ingested innovation, and developed the market's design and build plan. I created an engineering machine that will scale into full metro expansion. - Lead 11 highly technical transport engineers in the Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia networks. - My team was responsible for the engineering and capacity management of a network supporting over 2500 cell towers, 700 small cells, and 8 mobile switching centers.- Managed the spend of a $50M capital budget and a $300M expense budget- Successfully lead the combination of two geographically diverse teams to one high performing organization

- Lead cross functional disciplines in both the OH/PA/WV region as well as the Midwest area for dark fiber network design engineering- Developed and mentored emerging technical talent within the Ohio engineering teams- Initiated RFP’s for dark fiber networks and equipment. Provided careful consideration for cost, operational efficiency and vendor quality - Lead engineer for the Ohio dark fiber to the cell site project. A multi-year, multi-million dollar project that built DWDM/CWDM Ethernet networks to over 1,000 cell towers in the Ohio market - Developed company wide standard network topologies and designs for the dark fiber backhaul and fronthaul networks. Lead engineer for the layer 1 and layer 2 networks in the Ohio region. Responsible for the planning, engineering and implementation of a multi-million dollar annual capital budget. Projects were engineered to provide 1G to 100G circuits over CWDM/DWDM ROADM transport networks to Verizon Wireless cell towers, switches, and other POPs within the Ohio network.
