Provide engineering oversight at the department machine/weld shop which included root cause investigations for equipment failures (pumps, valves, piping etc.), implementing proper repairs, develop repair specifications and procedures, and supervise machinists and welders during day-to-day activities.

Ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of two 185MW dual fuel steam units. Develop and enforce procedures, install new equipment and maintain existing assets in accordance with codes and standards such as ASME, API, IEEE, OSHA, etc. Routine activates would consist of finding inefficiencies and implementing improvements, troubleshoot failures, identify root causes, and monitor plant performance.

Interned in the Process Safety department and responsible for conducting Process Hazard Analysis' and establishing a risk assessment database for the Power Plant Ops department.
