Retired as Executive Vice-President and Chief Information Officer at Toronto Hydro-Electric System Limited. Reporting to the CEO, I have held the senior IT role since 2010 and am responsible for the overall delivery of information technology services for the organization, including operational technology, cybersecurity, and telecommunications. In this role, I have led the transformation of the IT department, through the adoption and implementation of best practices for improving asset lifecycle management, IT hygiene, infrastructure resilience, cybersecurity posture, project execution, and technology enablement for business clients, to become a highly capable, productive, efficient, effective service provider and strategic business partner. Proof of this is the recent successful delivery of the new ERP system (SAP/SuccessFactors/Ariba), a critical strategic solution that represents the largest and most complex technology project in the history of the company.Previously, as Chief Risk Officer, leading the Strategic Management team in working closely with the other Executives and the Board, I was responsible for corporate strategic planning, Enterprise Risk Management, corporate governance, performance management, and business continuity that had significantly helped shape a corporate culture that values progressive leadership, innovation, integrity, excellence, continuous improvement, accountability, and commitment to and respect for customers and employees.Having been with the organization since 1988 (starting at East York Hydro – one of the six former local distribution companies that now comprise Toronto Hydro), I also possess extensive core industry leadership experience in the electrical distribution operations areas of the business, including system planning, standards, design, construction, maintenance, health and safety, and environmental management.

Initiated the member survey and study of IT/OT Convergence (2015) and the Cyber Security Assessment (2016) across the industry.
