I graduated from Louisiana Tech University on May 20th of 2023, with a B.S. in Nanosystems Engineering, having a concentration in Microsystems Engineering. This degree is attained only by having excelled in courses regarding MEMS/NEMS design, micro/nano physics and chemistry simulation software (COMSOL, Materials Studio, Tsuprem4/Medici, etc.), micro/nano measurements analysis & characterization, and micro/nano manufacturing (SW/MWCNTs, Quantum Dots, etc.). Also, upon graduation, I received my certification as a Six Sigma Black Belt, having received my Six Sigma Green Belt certification in February 2023, after completing a course in DOE and a SSBB project with a B or higher in both.My senior design project, a 3D Bioprinter for Low-Gravity Environments, has received funding from NASA’s LaSpace Consortium. The goals of this project were to create an open-source, cost-effective 3D bioprinter for researchers to replicate; the 3D bioprinter was required to have a resolution of below 100 microns (achieved resolution below 20 microns), the ability to print multiple bio inks, and cost below $5000. This project has required manufacturing, programming, testing, and troubleshooting to retain an environment of biosafety and engineering excellence necessary for graduating from an ABET accredited institute, and meeting ISO standards. My project team was also required to submit monthly status reports to NASA’s LaSpace advisor, detailing our research, laboratory methods, budget, and task management to retain funding.I currently have certificates for Professional Development from the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) Academy’s programs on: Inherently Safer Design (3.00 PDH), LOPAs Quantitative Risk Analysis (2.50 PDH), Chemical Reactivity Hazards (2.50 PDH), and Minimizing & Identifying Process Safety Hazards (2.00 PDH).
