I have an innate ability to identify areas for improvement and create smart and efficient solutions to every problem, resulting in reduced costs &/or increasing productivity, while ensuring each solution has the optimal balance between efficiency and compliance requirements. I am looking for a role within any corporation that can put my extensive experience and transferrable skillset to good use. I can best be utilised within any role focussed on a property underwriting operation, however am also a quick study and would embrace the opportunity to work within other lines of business.My key skills include: property underwriting, operational management, business analysis, data analysis, process management, change management, innovative problem solving, portfolio management, risk compliance, system development, creative design, stakeholder management, negotiation, and leadership.

I was promoted into the role of Associate Underwriter in 2007, and developed into a Level 2 Underwriter over the years that followed through internal training and mentorship.I was responsible for underwriting and administrating property risks, from small to large individual risks, large national and global accounts, and government portfolios. This included the creation and monitoring of many facility arrangements. Further I was responsible for managing and developing client market relationships.I was also accountable for the development and management of the Swiss Re online trading platform, SwiftRe, with a mandate to grow the volume of automatic business placed via this avenue. This included ongoing system development, marketing, demonstrations, training, underwriting referrals, portfolio analysis and reporting, and undertaking client audits. A unique achievement during this time was the development of an Excel based VB tool that has since been utilised by all Property Underwriters globally. I received an internal GEM award due to demonstrating an innovative & creative approach to finding solutions.
