I manage the end-to-end export of shipping containers loaded with various Agricultural commodities destined for international buyers, this role includes:- Drafting and revising trade contracts with various international buyers and commodity brokers.- Liaising with various packing sites throughout the country to ensure the correct procedures and documentation are utilised.- Liaising with international customers, shipping lines, and government departments to ensure shipping containers are exported and can pass seamlessly through customs overseas.- Issuing and negotiating export shipping documentation- Liaising with banks to secure credit lines and set up Letters of Credit for international customers.- Compiling various internal reports such as shipping schedules, contract status and specialist miscellaneous reports as requested.

As a trade service officer, I performed various support functions for the business:- Compiling various internal reports such as trade positions, grower contracts, and pricing analysis.- Reconciliation of broker notes to ensure they match internal systems.- Liaising with accumulation officers and growers to resolve various issues of grower contracts.- Supporting other teams throughout the business with tasks as requested.
