I completed my thesis internship at Erasmus Medical Center, working on developing a Bayesian behavioral toolbox that can be applied to behavioral analysis when completing a visuomotor task. MCMC sampling techniques were applied for parameter estimation in a state-space model of visuomotor adaptation. During this project, I have used the PyMC library in Python for model simulations and data fitting.

Taking the job of treasurer of a committee helped me to develop and improve my discipline, professional behavior, communication skills, and organizational approaches. While being treasurer, I have undertaken the responsibilities to design and successfully present an optimal budget proposal, to make sure that the committee events are held according to the plan, and to take care of any monetary issues that committee members might encounter. I have successfully established connections with the EUCSA board members and representatives from other university colleges, thus expanding my student network.

During this volunteering experience, I provided administrative assistance to the rehabilitation center operational staff in document archiving and routine paperwork. Additionally, I helped the designated staff with organizing care and education activities for children with Autism and Cerebral Palsy, including transportation of patients in wheelchairs. Also supported the event committee in the organization of multiple events for the patients.
