In my previous life as a Chemical Process Engineer at Monsanto, my job was to design processes for products developed by research. The processes had to be economical and safe. This was very challenging work with many problems, requiring close coordination with several different groups. During my the last few years at Monsanto, I was the Total Quality voice in Corporate Engineering. I taught this concept to all groups in Engineering. The challenge here for me was the teaching. I had never done this before. My working career continued for five years after Monsanto retirement, still in the Chemical Process field, but with different challenges. Both situations where I was Treasurer for Homeowners groups offered new challengers for me. In both cases, the builders had set up the Associations, and the time had come for the homeowners to take them over. Financial records had been poorly kept, and budgets had to be developed for the first time. Here were new challenges and new problems to be solved.I offered to start an Employment Ministry as I recognized the need. Our Session agreed and has been very supportive. In doing this I have learned that finding a job today is a totally different process than it was even two years ago. We endeavor to provide job seekers the tools they need.My primary interest is see all members of our Employment Ministry find meaningful work.Specialties: Meeting challenges, especially where it benefits others.Working with people to help them accomplish their objectives.Listening and learning
