I've always loved movies. As a kid growing up in Wisconsin, I would frequent the local movie theatre. During my senior year in college, I decided to follow a career in the film business. While attending Graduate Film School at Columbia University in New York , there were many great moments -- John Cassavetes walking into our class with a new film "Woman under the Influence" under his arm -- watching Scorcese shoot "Taxi Driver" on the Upper West Side, and Spielberg shoot "Jaws" on a beach in Martha's Vineyard. I had a two-year stint in Costa Rica as a cameraman after Film School, and in 1985, I returned to the Midwest. It's been a great life here in Chicago - producing, directing, shooting and editing story after story for Tango Films. And there are many more stories to tell.
