Opportunities were identified with the use of Value stream Mapping and process flow analysis.Identifying the steps is a key function of operational excellence to the point in which each and every employee can identify with the flow of the operation and to see the value all the way to the customer. The Operational Excellence team identified bottlenecks, and inefficiencies and created plans that incrementally and/or drastically fixed the operation before it was completely broken. The role examined every level and every person in the organization, from executives to the employees producing the product. The result of the activities generated top-line growth and improved profits.
