My role at the Kupe Gas Plant included ensuring that safety and environmental awareness areconsistently prioritised, ensuring that QA/QC documentation is ready for commissioning, andassisting main contractors with design issues and all associated problemsin order to completeconstruction and hand over to commissioning.

This project involved the construction of a 1083mm Ø water pipeline traversing between adesalination plant and a dam. As a client representative I looked after several subcontractorcrews and helped to resolve many engineering issues both on site and with office-basedengineering teams.

During the construction of the 24” and 48” Gas and Oil Pipelines, I coordinated three differentsubcontractors, providing management and supervision to the construction teams. I alsofacilitated the camp management and integrated with Russian subcontractors to trainmanpower and supply machinery as required, while maintaining the highest possible HSEstandards. The environmental standards were particularly stringent and critical as the projectfinancial lenders regularly visited the site.

I provided management and supervision to the construction and logistics of this 571km 26”natural gas transmission pipeline which now loops between Dampier and Bunbury, WesternAustralia. Additionally I oversaw the completion of QA/QC and other documentation for clientacceptance, and coordinated hot-tapping into the existing live line.
