Robert Young is an industry veteran with over 25 years of experience as a designer and theatre consultant. He has worked on hundreds of performance spaces globally for a wide variety of venue types including concert and recital halls, community spaces, multipurpose theatres, opera houses, rock and pop arenas, music venues, corporate headquarters, and theme parks. His hands-on experience and insight into new performance technologies inform his approach to designing versatile and engaging performance spaces. Robert has authored several articles on theatre planning and design and has been a guest speaker at many industry events including AIA, Dance USA, North American Theatre Engineering and Architecture Conference, Acoustical Society of America, and LDI.As a multidisciplinary project manager, Robert has a proven track record of efficient project delivery and attentive client care. His clear communication and attention to detail enable him to be an effective leader and intermediary between the client, the users, and the design team.
