DB Schenker Region Middle East and Africa is a newly established Region in the Schenker Group, including 45 countries covered by Schenker legal entities and exclusive partners.As the first CFO for the Region, the principle responsibility was to establish the foundations for the region around structure and processes for future growth. This included successful execution of finding locations, integrate with local rules and procedures, establish relations to authorities, banks and other external parties as well as opening/acquiring companies and hiring of staff on different levels. Finally the regional business units were aligned with group standards and work processes with regard to business follow up, controlling, planning, reporting and accounting. An additional improved focus area was working.

DB Schenker Region North Europe includes Sweden, Denmark, Norway, UK and Ireland. Responsibilities were to monitor, analyse, challenge and support the business units, drive forecasting and planning, evaluate investment and acquisition possibilities, and coordinate restructuring work. Being the first controller for the region responsibilities also included to establish and implement procedures and processes.
