I have been involved in law enforcement and law practice since 1974 while serving in the USAF. In the USAF and on a local police department I was a patrol officer, criminal investigator, prosecutor. Following law school I practiced labor and employment law representing employers in matters before the NLRB and the U.S. District Court. Following that I joined the Henderson City Attorney's Office Criminal Division where I prosecuted misdemeanor offenses including Domestic Battery and DUI. Additionally, I advised and assisted the Human Resources Department, in the drafting of policies and conducting personnel investigations. I also worked with the Police Department by instructing officers in the areas of Constitutional Law, Domestic Violence, the Nevada Laws of Arrest, and DUI. For three years I was the full time legal adviser to the Police Department.
