I'm a Geomatic Engineering or Survey Engineering expert with over seventeen years of experience in Cadastral or property boundary surveys, engineering surveys for road construction, power lines, Topographic surveys and control surveys for aerial surveys among others. I briefly worked for E.G. Pettit & Partners as a project surveyor for the construction of about 80km of road from Luanshya to Mpongwe on Zambia’s Copperbelt province. I've further worked as a Lecturer, Researcher and Consultant at the University of Zambia. My consultancies included the cadastral surveys of numerous former University housing units sold to sitting tenants, Topographic survey of over 260 Hectares of the main University campus for land use planning for all the open spaces, Irrigation schemes mapping for the Ministry of Agriculture in Sinazongwe and Nega Nega in the Southern province of Zambia. At the moment I'm involved with the Power utility Zesco on Power Generation and Grid extension projects such as the upcoming Kafue Gorge lower hydro power plant and the Lunzua hydro scheme. Furthermore, I'm responsible for the design of and periodic monitoring regimes for the two dams at Kafue Gorge and Itezhi tezhi as well as route design and location for Transmission (330 kV Pensulo to Kasama in Northern Zambia for example) and distribution lines.
