At Stevens I run a $20 million operation and have dealings with over 200 faculty, 50 administrators, dozens of clients and vendors, thousands of students, and senior management. At any given time I can be involved in projects focusing on program development, operations, marketing, vendor management, IT and business strategy, IT implementation, sales support, and customer support.Running the WebCampus Division at Stevens has been a great challenge, a LOT of work, and a lot of fun.

Current member of the USDLA Board of Directors. Also serve as a track chairman for the committee that reviews and evaluates proposals from prospective presenters for the annual USDLA conference.

Work as part of a volunteer committee that reviews and evaluates proposals from prospective presenters for the annual Online Learning COnsortium (formerly Sloan-C) conference.

The technical support role that I had at Prudential brought me into contact with many different audiences. I was involved with projects that ranged from application development to systems maintenance to end-user support. I enjoyed going out into the field and talking with our end-users to see how they were using our systems, finding out what their needs were, and then going back to the shop and working with the rest of the support team to come up with solutions. Some of the more interesting projects involved transitioning the company to Lotus Notes, coordinating system upgrades, and outsourced work. IBM was our primary contractor for much of this work.Later on I transfered to the Software Engineering group -- which as essentially a project management office that promoted the use of CMM Level 2 standards throughout the company.
