With over 30 years of experience in national security, defense, and space law, I provide legal solutions for complex and emerging issues in the international trade and government contracting practice at Womble Bond Dickinson, a transatlantic law firm with a strong presence in the US and UK markets. My core competencies include advising clients on export controls, economic and trade sanctions programs, foreign investment national security reviews, data licenses and privacy, and international trade policy issues. I leverage my previous roles as Acting Associate General Counsel and Assistant General Counsel at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, as well as my Special Advisor position to the Secretary of Defense, to offer strategic counsel and guidance to clients in the defense and space industry. I also draw on my academic background as a National Security Fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School, where I enhanced my knowledge and skills in global security and policy analysis.
