I have been a Travel Consultant for 40yrs starting at a small family owned business. Worked 32yrs at a Fortune 250 Corporate Travel Office where I went from Travel Consultant I to the Lead International Travel Consultant responsible for all the travel needs for the top Executives. In the last 5yrs I have assisted the Travel Manager with miscellaneous projects, yearly vendor negotiations, investigating client issues, daily travel reports for our top executives, worked the weekly reports on vendor usage and scheduled the quarterly staff meetings. I am able to organize, problem solve, multi task and prioritize my workload. I built professional relationships and earned the trust and respect of my clients by providing consistent premier customer service. I was assigned the job of Team Building Leader with our Virtual Team along with sending out weekly inspirational emails to increase the team's morale. I also assisted the contractors in the Groups/Meetings department with any reservations or Travel Policy questions that arose.
