Roberta (Bert) Lubbers Harper of Charlotte, NC is a results driven leader with superior motivation and interpersonal skills, capable of resolving multiple complex issues that maximize missions and values for a Global Financial services company. She is now the CEO of Hugaroo, Inc. whose mission is to provide a new stuffed animal to every child who has been admitted with a diagnosis of cancer, a life-threatening illness, or other traumatic condition. What started as a Girl Scout Gold Award service project grew into a non-profit that serves the children in both the Charlotte area and Richmond, VA. Harper was the CEO of the Women's Inter-Cultural Exchange. Former roles at Bank of America were Enterprise Stress Testing Transformation Executive leading the completion of the Enterprise Stress Testing Enhancement Plan; Corporate Treasury Transition Executive for both assessment and execution focused on Merrill Lynch and Countrywide; Quality &Productivity executive for the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) group and the Corporate Treasury Change Management Executive, responsible for strategy execution. Harper joined the company in 1972 as securities cashier in the Investment Department. Harper was promoted to senior vice president in 1992 as the Texas Funding/Trading Manager and principal for the Texas Dealer Bank and held securities licenses 7, 6, 52, 53, and 63.She is a graduate of Leadership Charlotte Class XXVI with demonstrated interest in the Charlotte community and a willingness to assume civic leadership.
