I was very involved in firm projects, from the design process to the outsourcing of materials and finding clients. The firm focuses on modular construction to solve the affordable housing shortage in LA, and I used my networking skills to to find investors and successfully raised money for a housing project. I have also worked on developing the design of the project and applying to competitions and ADU applications.

I worked in a big architecture studio located in the city of Monterrey, that manages both national and international major projects. I navigated meetings with clients and developers and communicated regularly with them to guarantee their approval and satisfaction on project progress. Worked on the design of residential, commercial, and interior design projects with a large team. Helped developed technical drawings for housing projects. Personally tackled a project with complex challenge and designed a school for kids with disabilities. This school is now built in Mexico.s

I worked side by side with the head architect of this major construction company in Monterrey. I worked on the brainstorming and design development of large-scale residential projects focused primarily on sustainable low-income housing. These residential projects included the design of social community spaces and parks, as well as landscape design. I also worked in material selection and outsourcing for these projects. Furthermore, I assisted the project manager on construction sites overseeing multiple projects, and learned about the construction process of the houses. This experience provided me with a better insight into real-world architecture and the challenges that come with providing adequate and affordable housing for everyone. It also provided an opportunity to see how interconnected low-income building is with the government, and all the paperwork involved when developing large projects.
