I have learned and grown over the past 30 years of experience in the field of Medical Administration. I have enjoyed my journey, gaining knowledge with the business end of a medical practice, while getting acquainted with the providers and the staff. Having a great rapport with your employers and your staff members, allows for a great running practice by following all guidelines for a "best practice" business. I enjoy applying new ideas and implementing them. I not only have experience in the medical field, I also managed the building maintenance and construction projects within the medical facility for which I was employed. With my last position, I implemented and overseen 2 construction projects within the building. We were lacking space and therefore I hired contractors to come in and turn a medical records room into a surgical scheduling department and also added two exam rooms in another area of the building. This was all done under budget and in a timely manner. This required an extreme change in work flow, which turned out very well and is functioning to date.One of my other qualities is problem solving. As a manager, I was the individual that everyone came to when there was an issue or a problem. I was quick to resolve issues and very responsive to those in need of assistance. I enjoy being productive, resolving issues and working along side a great team.
