I graduated from CSUSB with a Master of Arts in Social Work in 2022. I have interned as a clinician in a crisis setting, as well as in outpatient mental health. My research interests include the pathway to higher education for marginalized groups and barriers which increase recidivism among the justice-involved. Additionally, I have experience in community policy work feom my role as a member of the Inland Empire Fair Chance Coalition, where I worked with reentry partners to increase access to employment and housing for justice-involved community members. In addition to these roles, I was also a student assistant with Project Rebound. Part of my duties included performing intakes, assessments, and interventions with Project Rebound’s student population. I also provide enrollment and academic advising for incoming “pipeline” students.
