I have over 15 years of experience as an editor, proofreader, and translator (Dutch and French to English). After receiving my M.L.A. (Master of Landscape Architecture) from the University of Michigan, I lived for 12 years in the Netherlands, where I began my freelance editing and translating business. I have served more than 30 different clients, delivering outstanding written English. (There is English, and then there is excellent English. I deal in the latter.)I also have experience with computer support, databases, website creation, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). In my studies at the University of Michigan, I took all the courses I could in GIS and remote sensing. As a graduate student, I interned at the Documentation Center of the International Council on Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS) in Paris, where I wrote a cost-benefit analysis entitled "GIS for World Heritage Preservation." I am currently working toward an ESRI certification in GIS.In my spare time I write, play cello in a professional orchestra, and am the organizer of the Tampa Bay Classic Film Club on Meetup and Facebook.
