I am an ambitious, disciplined, and resilient third-year Honours Bachelor of Science student at the University of Guelph, majoring in Biomedical Science. I am a firm believer in pursuing a career that aligns with a person's inherent nature and when given purpose, has the potential to make a positive impact. I have always been fascinated by the intricacies of the human body and the complex role that science plays in our daily lives. After my degree, I hope to pursue a career in medicine in which I will blend aspects of healthcare with the creation of memorable experiences in the lives of all of whom I interact with.I have volunteered within my community which has allowed me to experience the needs of various kinds of people and has helped me to approach all scenarios as an individual and unique experience. I have also played and maintained interests in competitive and high level sports and fitness which has developed my teamwork, communication, and disciplinary skills. My most recent position in physiotherapy and sports conditioning has inspired me to pursue Sports Medicine or Emergency Medicine and has provided me with invaluable practical experience that I hope to continue to build on.
