"No leader sets out to be a leader. People set out to live their lives, expressing themselves fully. When that expression is of value, they become leaders…So the point is not to become a leader. The point is to become yourself, to use yourself completely to make your vision manifest. You must withhold nothing. You must, in sum, become the person you started out to be, and to enjoy the process of becoming" - Warren BennisI devoted the first part of my career to "sell", where this meant to me to "connect" with my clients, my team, and the entire ecosystem revolving around the business. The sense of selling was to create a mutual enjoyment of working together. I believed I was satisfied with my professional life, but losing my job made me reflect on how my current reality was my opportunity to become the promoter of my destiny and to conceive something that was more meaningful to me.In this Digital Era, employees, especially the younger ones, want their work to have value, significance and purpose.Leaders should be able to inspire their people to a common purpose and give them the independence to create more value.Organizations need to measure the potential to build up internal talent by establishing multidisciplinary teams, developing cross-collaborative networks, creating new evaluation frameworks, and redefining leadership roles. Companies must consider their values and ethics more carefully, as well as the needs of all involved parties: first and foremost, employees, but also customers, society, and the environment. From here stems my idea of consulting for companies centered around people through:- Corporate education: At Hansen Beck, our passion is to create life-changing moments of learning because we believe that everyone has the potential to excel. We will be the preferred global partner for those seeking trainings that reflect the corporate culture, business objectives, and learner preferences.- Coaching: In a future that is evolving faster than we can predict, we must be able and adapt continuously. Coaching promotes a learning culture and provides personalized development and support for both leaders and employees. By investing in executive coaching, organizations can create a positive work environment that drive success.- Mindfulness: Building focus, resilience and trust through a mindfulness culture will enhance work-life balance and work-stress management. When it comes to cultural diversity, it will serve as the foundation for powerful conversations, transformational growth, and self-awareness.
