In 2015, I earned my Bachelor's Degree at Franklin & Marshall College in English Creative Writing and German Language & Literature. Currently, I work at Freemansburg Elementary School as the AmeriCorps Community Building VISTA through the United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley. My role involves identifying challenge areas within the school and connecting with stakeholders and community members in order to provide resources that address these needs. In 2017, I completed my first year of service as an AmeriCorps VISTA at the Chester County Department of Community Development. My role was to facilitate volunteer recruitment and outreach efforts for Decade to Doorways, an umbrella organization that supports many agencies in Chester County serving the homeless population. I have several years of experience working with community service organizations and agencies, including my time as president of the Catastrophic Relief Alliance at Franklin & Marshall College and a year-long internship I completed at Habitat for Humanity. In 2013, I studied abroad in Berlin through IES Abroad, completing two foreign language intensive courses. While at Franklin & Marshall, I served as an editor and contributor to the print publication Epilogue Literary Magazine. I have also written nonfiction pieces for the online publication Ampersand Magazine, and articles for F&M News describing disaster relief trips orchestrated by Catastrophic Relief Alliance.
