My Master thesis reports this study “Epigenetic control of EHMT1 chromatin remodeler in synaptic homeostasis”.My role was to assess the endogenous EHMT1/ EHMT2 protein levels before and after the induction of homeostatic plasticity by western blot and immunocytochemistry. This research project in Immunology focused on understanding the intracellular LCK-mediated signalling in T cell survival rate during TCR activation. I was involved in cloning LCK mutants, producing lentiviral particles in T239 cells and measuring with immunocytochemistry the expression of LCK mutants in primary and Jurkat lymphocytes. I analysed the fluorescence of T cells expressing LCK mutants after TCR activation by flow cytometry.
