Dealing directly with our network of international agencies, establishing relations in particular with Turkey, Egypt, Portugal, Morocco, Lebanon and Greece.Preparating quotes for customers, using product or material quantity or weight information supplied to estimate type of container required for storage or transport.Negotiating of rates with agents, ensuring required profit margins as directed by the company are achieved also monitoring shipments.Liaising with partners, agents and clients on a daily basis via phone and email to find the best solution for any customer complain that may arise.Collaborating in a team of four people to always meet customers' expectations.

Checking of vessel and shipyard requirements and researching appropriate suppliers, to include requesting quotations and samples when required. Negotiating prices in terms of product, service quality and delivery terms provided by the supplier. Generating purchase orders , mainteinig and updating of purchasing records & pricing data in the system.Liasing suppliers and freight forwarders to ensure on-time delivery and to obtain proof of delivery.Following up on vessel documentation and organizing and planning work on vessels in the shipyard within the Technical Department.

Supporting customers over the telephone.Making outbound calls to generate sales leads.Identifying customer needs and suggesting products according to the client’s profile.

Checking & updating vessel and office documentation according to the Safety Management System (Internal Audits).Organizating & monitoring of renewals of vessel and office certifications (External audits).Following up on documentation requested at docks during vessel repairs.Researching & selecting of vessel crew in collaboration with International Manning Services –Italy Reception & analysis of internal vessel requests. Researching suppliers, requesting quotations & negotiating prices in terms of product and service quality and delivery terms provided by the supplier.Verifying of samples received from suppliers.Preparing & processing of external purchase orders and delivery instructions. Coordinating with suppliers and freight forwarders to ensure on-time delivery and obtain proof of delivery.Maintaining and updating purchasing records & pricing data in the system.Providing cover as required to the booking office to prepare and issue bills of lading and manifests, and to receive and provide receipts for payments.Liasing daily with Port Administration and ‘Rina’ (Registro Navale Italiano).

Crew Resourcing:Selection and verification of crew, including examination and verification of CVs and carrying out interviews with candidates.Organization crew turnover for a smooth onboard rotation and verification of performance using onboard evaluation notes.Shipping Clerk: Organization of vessel berths, bunkering, pilots and tugs .Declaring and requesting authorization for hazardous goods.Administration and processing of crew embarkation, disembarkation and transfers.
