Arizona Athletics created its Inclusive Excellence Council in 2018 to focus on increasing and supporting inclusion, building trust, and appreciating differences amongst our student-athletes and staff within the athletics department. This vital group focuses on fostering the importance of diversity and inclusion through programming, educational events, new hire processes, speaker series and more. The Inclusive Excellence Council uses its work within our athletics department in support of the University of Arizona's commitment to a vibrant, empowered and inclusive campus.

The department of Community Relations, Special Events and Jim Click Hall of Champions Museum will connect with the community and is one of five External Operations departments. Our role within the department is to coordinate community service for student-athletes, coaches, staff and cheer and mascot appearances. Additionally, coordinate special events for the Wildcat Club, A-Club Letterwinners Association and Arizona Athletics, while also overseeing the department's heritage, and facilitate public facility group tours, charitable donations, and museum rentals.The overall purpose of External Operations is to promote Arizona Athletics 20 intercollegiate sports, maximize ticket revenue and increase paid attendance. Engage people, develop fans and active customers, create a memorable fan experience, and elevate the brand of Arizona Athletics.
