Roberta is an experienced communications and brand leader with a background in finance. She is currently Chief Communications Officer at Hasbro, where she leads a team of communications and corporate brand professionals responsible for bringing the power of Hasbro and its brands alive through compelling and powerful story telling. Previously Roberta was Chief Brand and Communications Officer at Notion, the workplace collaboration company, where she built a team delivering award-winning brand campaigns and world class communications, social and influencer marketing. Before that, Roberta led Product Communications at Meta (formerly Facebook!), presiding over global comms for the Family of Apps (Facebook app, Instagram, Messenger), and prior to that led the company's Corporate Communications team for five years, spanning financial and litigation comms, culture and internal comms, data comms, design and film. She helped tell Facebook's story both externally and internally for more than seven years. Roberta spent over seven years at critical issues and corporate relations agency Brunswick Group, where she advised on media relations, crisis and issues management, and over $150bn of M&A transactions. As well as tech, she has deep knowledge of the telecom sector after spending two and a half years onsite working with AT&T's Global Media Relations team.Roberta spent her teenage years singing in a rock band, and then read Classics at Oxford. She started her professional life as a chartered accountant with Deloitte in London, where she worked with clients across sectors on both statutory audits and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. She brings a transatlantic perspective having worked in London, New York, Dallas, and Silicon Valley.Roberta is a proud mom after many years struggling to carry a child, and believes in speaking out about the challenges that women, and especially Black women, face with fertility.
