I assisted my Pastor by planning events, speaking publicly, writing reports, photographing events, and creating a weekly newsletter. This job required me to be very proactive and aware of what my boss (the pastor) needed. I learned to work with a constantly changing environment. I soon got to the point where I knew what needed to be done for upcoming events and my boss did not have to worry. In this job I greatly improved my communication skills because I came to realize how important communication is (In other words, I learned the hard way).This job was probably most important in my development of soft skills.
