My films explore uncommon subjects. I am interested in things that go unnoticed (clothes on the line as emblematic of the unseen work of women) or are maligned and misunderstood (the accordion) or which need to be seen through a different lens (the creative power of women). I believe that there is always more than meets the eye. My films have a poetic, lyrical approach , There are always underlining themes: surviving the demands of life, making meaning, spirituality manifested in a variety of ways, the role of the imagination and creativity.
