I am an engineer who has done and can do many things. I have installed, upgraded, and configured software and hardware to make new applications available for customers. I have tested software to find defects and got them fixed. I have led the test effort on multiple projects, planning the test strategy and leading a group of test engineers to develop and execute tests of new functionality to deliver the software release as scheduled. I have built and upgraded systems composed of: HP GenX servers running ESXi, MNR and Juniper routers, HP switches, Seagate DASs (drive storage systems), Fortigate and Juniper firewalls, and many other components. I have designed labs and networks to simulate customer environments.I have many years of experience with projects executed using scrum, with local and offshore teams. I have used many test automation tools, and taken many network captures, using Wireshark and other capture tools. I have used and written Python and Powershell scripts and Windows scheduled tasks.I want to solve problems customers are having with their systems and networks. I want to work with brilliant people I can learn from but also teach a few things to that they might not know. I want to work with the latest technologies and equipment.
