In March of 2000, I was invited to join an IT startup company based on my reputation of strong character and work ethic. There, I gained an appreciation for serving others in the technical space and purposed to further my education in the IT field.I transitioned from a corporate IT contracting company to the education space when I joined The King’s Academy in 2004, working to serve and support faculty and staff from within the IT team. Throughout my 18-year tenure at TKA as an IT professional, I have led efforts to unify and leverage systems and provide timely support, prioritizing the main goal: Students, and their education. I believe that faculty are to be supported in their classrooms since the more successful they are as educators, the better they can serve students.I gained valuable experience in leadership roles in Education; such as serving as: - Acting Director of Technology - Academic Department Chair for Technology - Classroom Instructor - Summer Interns Manager - SIS Lead - Grade Level Advisor - HS/JH Volleyball CoachThroughout my various positions. I have demonstrated a keen aptitude for guiding and collaborating with colleagues in implementing strategic initiatives designed to meet the overarching needs of each academic division.In 2022, I joined the IT team at Avenues The World School in Silicon Valley where I have been able to collaborate with colleagues to launch a new campus; actively creating a culture for staff/students to thrive, where we are advancing education by setting an example as an effective, diverse and accountable school; by continuously investing in ways to become better at what we do; and by making available our discoveries, large and small, to colleagues in the cause of education.Two areas of my life come before anything else: my faith and my family. I am grateful for the grace of my savior and His love for me. He allowed me to marry my beautiful wife in 2005 and has given us six children. Our family became a foster family in 2019, and in 2023 we officially became an adoptive family.In 2021, I began to grow a strong passion for my health. This passion turned into a Passion Project when I partnered with Q Sciences to make a difference in this space. Specifically, supplementation, mindset growth, business leadership, entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and progress in fitness and movement. As a MyQFIT Pro with MyQFIT, I am partnering with the corporate staff to be a representative of MyQFIT for the field and collaborate with the corporate team on App content and innovations.
