Essential functions:1) Tailor made benefit design:Identification of commercial and personal insurance needs through a deep understanding of their businesses, industries, personal, specific goals and objectives.Evaluation of coverages and deductibles as well as analysis of commercial and personal risks, in order to provide the best possible solutions.Analyze and recommend plan changes and/or improvements focus on need based selling.Prospecting, negotiation and closing the deal of the customized solution.2) Tailor made benefit support:Research topics of interest and current trends within insurance and financial topics.Compare the competitiveness of the solutions with the market.Advise on existing product solutions and forthcoming product developments.Educate client regarding exposure and coverage.Negotiate renewals with current organizations and personal needs and objectives.Follow-up the contracts and advice customers on expiration date, changes and updates.Assist claim, including follow-up claim disputes.Assist with eligibility problems and contract interpretation.Assist in resolving complex client or underwriting issues.Provide regular and in-person visits to discuss service issues of all types.Conduct employee meetings for presenting literature for new plans or changes in existing plans.Attend industry specific seminars, workshops, and other networking events to develop contacts and relationships which may lead to market opportunities.3) Managing and Leadership Behaviors:Articulate a clear purpose/vision for the team that motivates colleagues and guides their actions/decision making.Regular coaching and mentoring of developing team.Managing the support and broker teams responsible for certificates of insurance and other insurance documentation; gathering and formatting client renewal information and exposure documents.
