Onsite .Net Team Lead / Application DeveloperSantander Consumer Usa Inc. Mar 2014 - May 2015Dallas, Tx, UsChallengeIn 2014, Santander Consumer USA had a .NET Web Forms CRM tool for their Collections Customer Service Department that needed to be upgraded to MVC. The developers who built the this application were located in Bangalore, India but there was a need to have an on-site team lead to (1) manage the application, (2) lead the off-shore team, and (3) act as a liaison between off-shore and the Client. Lastly, the goal of converting the application to MVC was not alone, but was coupled with the task of getting the IT Software Committee to adopt Angular as an approved JavaScript framework (as prior to this point Knockout was the only approved JavaScript framework of choice).StrategyPlan with the Client the following: (1) How to best interface with the Project Managers, Product Owners, and Business Analysts, (2) How to best interact with the off-shore team and (3) What is the best architectural approach for the Application Conversion.ResultI was contracted as a Sr. NET Team Lead who led a small team of 3-4 developers. To solve problem (1): "Interface with Project Managers, Product Owners, and Business Analysts", an Agile SCRUM Methodology was adopted and for the duration of the project was strictly adhered to. To address problem (2): "Interacting with the off-shore team", a SCRUM Methodology was adopted and i would often meet with the off-shore team at 6:00 AM CST due to the time-zone differences. Lastly, for problem (3): the "Application Conversion", using Angular 1.2, Bootstrap 3, and MVC 5; the consultant developed a POC that was approved by the Software Committee and both the POC and the new language was adopted.Technologies UsedAjax, Angular 1.5, ASP.NET (C#) 4.0, CSS, EntityFramework 6, JavaScript, JQuery, T-SQL, SASS, SSIS / SSRS, SVN, SQL Server 2008 R2 / 2012SDPM: Agile SCRUM (Web Application Development) -
Sr. Software Engineer / Sr. Technical Trainer (.Net Us Team Lead)Relavance Us May 2010 - Mar 2014ChallengeIn 2010, Relavance, a company whose product was a NoSQL Database (called an Associative Information Management System - AIMS), headquartered in Montreal, needed to get the ball rolling. They wanted to increase their market share in the US by offering SAAS. They wanted a US presence. As such, the following were the things that needed to be done: (1) hire US based developers, business analysts, sales people, etc., (2) train the new hires about the technology, and (3) sell licenses. Once all internal personnel is trained on the new software, the development team would then develop internal software, offer SAAS solutions, and develop client software.StrategyI was the first US based contractor for Relavance. The strategy was to build a team. This task took place in Atlanta, GA. I helped interview and hire the US based staff. I developed training content, and trained the new hires. Thereafter, with the newly formed team we began building software to demo this new database technology for potential customers like Emory University, IBM, Norvartis, and Qlik. After preparing to demo and sell licenses to this and other Fortune 500 companies; they planned to take the technology to small businesses.ResultI worked with Relavance US and Relavance Canada in the capacity of top US based consultant. I helped staff and grow the business. I, as the primary US development contractor, worked directly with the R&D scientist in Montreal, Canada to help further the technology, and act as a liason between the R&D labs and the US based client and their client's. With my assistance, we helped the US based company acquire many contracts and introduce themselves to the US based market.ActionScript 3.0, Adobe Flex, Android, Ajax, Associative DBMS (No SQL / SQL Less), ASP.NET (C#) 4.0/3.5/2.0, CSS, EntityFramework 4/5/6, Java, JavaScript, JQuery w/DataTables, SASS, Silverlight WPF, Multi-threaded Programming, XML

Sr. Flex / Flash Developer | Sql Server Developer | Asp.Net Developer | ArchitectConcurrent Computer Corporation Jul 2009 - Oct 2009Duluth, Ga, UsChallengeIn 2009, Concurrent Computer Corporation (CCUR), provider of On Demand content to cable providers, wanted to be one of the first to offer a multi-platform (Video On Demand) VOD solution (before the wide-span use of You-Tube, Netflix) that would be licensed to cable providers like Comcast, AT&T, etc. so they could offer their on-demand and cable lineup to customers on TV, PC, and Mobile devices.StrategyMeet and plan with the product owners and marketing directors to understand the applications requirements. Being the shop was a Java shop and we a .NET software development consulting firm, and the customer's desire to build a .NET Web Application to present the interface, we moved forward in a RAD venture. We bridged the technologies. We built the .NET web interface, using Java Web Services to read/write from their infrastructure; worked with the Flash Media Server Administrator to establish a CDN. We also developed not only in C# for the .NET portion of the application but also created the media streaming GUI using Action Script 2 and 3, lightly worked with SQL Server to implement .NET Membership Provider and custom vanilla JavaScript to interface .NET with ActionScript (Flash).Result In Atlanta, GA I worked with CCUR on a three month contract to build a Proof-Of-Concept Prototype to demonstrate in Sydney Australia at the International Broadcasting Convention (IBC) in 2009. The product was successfully demonstrated and has evolved into what you now see with the likes of YouTube, and Netflix: it seems like everybody is now using this technology.
