Every two years, the Glasstec International Trade Fair at the Messe in Düsseldorf presents the absolute state of the art in the world of glass. The heart of the fair is called 'Glass Technology Live', a 2500 m2 pool of inspiration atracting international engineers, architects, manufacturers, artists, specialists & everyone else who shares a passion for.

Frankfurt Am Main Area, Germany

I was given responsibilities in design and engineering, both in the initial design phase and the final execution drawings. The projects ranged from the IAA car show in Frankfurt to a youth center constructed of containers and a wooden roof structure for a Parish Centre in Monnheim.

Paris Area, France

After graduating I worked as a facade engineer within a team of primarily structural engineers. In cooperation with several architectural firms, I contributed to the design and engineering of different facade systems in projects at Avenue Montaigne, Campus Touzet and a Pathé cinema at the Avenuede Clichy.

I maintained and enriched a database regarding sustainable projects in the built environment in the Netherlands. In cooperation with several colleagues, I was also responsible for an online educational video regarding the climate design of the Aula building at the TU Delft campus.

As an intern at BURGY, I was able to experience the entire process regarding renovation projects from beginning to end. Once a week I would work on projects for my mentor, mainly regarding the full renovation of a classic canal house in the inner city of Delft.
