As a consultant, helped design and develop an application for Skinder-Strauss Associates that was resold to the firm's clients. Skinder-Strauss Associates publishes legal directories and is affiliated with eLaw.com, and New Jersey Lawyers Service. Throughout the fourteen plus years of vendor relationship with the firm and other related entities, Alonso Consulting has provided a variety of technical services that include development, technical support and consulting.

As a consultant, provided analysis to increase the performance of a web application connecting to a SQL Server database. InvestLink (NY) sells a defined contribution (401K) application as a web service. Alonso Consulting's work involved over a year of SQL Server performance tuning and hardware platform recommendations made based on quantitative analysis of real code on real hardware configured in a variety of ways.Alonso Consulting also worked on a variety of smaller projects that were used to further InvestLink's business goals.

As a IT consultant for Riverside Company, Alonso Consulting staff evaluated the IT infrastructure of various companies that were acquisition targets. The first of these was Conferon, followed by add-on acquisitions ExpoExchange and The Jackson Group. All of these are now known as Experient, Inc.The work done for Riverside and Conferon was analytical and was part of the due diligence process.

As a consultant at Medco, worked on the requirements and database design for a pharmacy location application. This software functionality included the creation of pharmacy networks for health insurance plans and finding pharmacies within specific geographical distances based on longitude and latitude calculations.

As a consultant at Dun & Bradstreet, worked on various projects in various departments. The most memorable projects include one called, "IMIS" which was a very large scale integrated project to replace all back office systems for D&B. I was responsible for requirements gathering on the Sales Territory Management portion of the system and later was responsible for all aspects of a Sales Compensation application called, "Go for The Gold."I also managed all information technology needs for a department that created sales analysis reports for the corporation. This included a very high capacity database server, a small Novell network and various reporting and development tools for SQL queries and reports.

As a consultant in Stanford, CT and Eden Prarie, MN, worked on a large project called, "System of the 90s" and also on a stand alone application called, "FleetNet" for managing vehicle fleets and ordering replacement vehicles from GE Capital Fleet Services.
