Tendering for Drylining, Suspended Ceilings, Fit Out, Screed, render & SFS. Overseeing all aspects of a bid from receipt of the enquiry, through to take off either manually or using On Centre (On Screen), pricing (using excel), prelims, bid presentation, mid bid, post bid to awarding of the package. Offer support to my colleagues and Line Manager for any projects they are working on, general admin required (i.e update of tender log, stationery log / ordering etc) and currently training one apprentice.

Learned how to build rates using Causeway and price prelims to each job. Followed a job through from an enquiry to pricing to mid bids to post tenders and finally to awarding of the package. Hand overs of a project to the site team would vary between a 2 hour to 5 hour meeting.Sizes of personal projects priced varied from 200k to 5 million.By the end of my 5 years as a Drylining Estimator I had progressed to that of a Experienced Estimator, I had trained 2 members of staff and was responisble with numerous tenders working direct with the Drylining Director.

Starting off as a waitress, worked in the kitchen and bar areas before moving over to the hotel as a receptionist. Promoted to Lead receptionist within a year, position held for 2 years until being promoted to Hotel Manager which was held for 4 months before departing with Whitbread.
