With my lived experience of disability, expertise in accessibility and commitment to inclusivity, I'm uniquely equipped to guide your organization to becoming a place where everyone feels valued and can fully contribute. I'm also delighted to be part of the Translink User Advisory Committee. It provides an opportunity to share my deep insights about the needs of people with non-apparent disabilities navigating the transit system.

Over the years, I've had the opportunity to interview some of our most inspiring artists and newsmakers. Whether it's chatting with Ang Lee about his opinion of prairie oysters, or chilling backstage with Governor General Award recipients Blue Rodeo, each conversation is an opportunity to learn something new about what brings us together. My work has been published on CBC, the Tyee, BC Business, in THIS magazine, FFWD Weekly, Swerve, WHERE, Avenue, the Sunday Times of London and others.In 2020, I co-launched the HSIHADHD podcast, exploring the challenges of being neurodivergent, which has over 200,000 downloads.I'm highly skilled at editorial content, including impact stories, fundraising emails, profiles, blogs, and website copy. I've been called the "ultimate researcher" and "extraordinarily compassionate." Some of the organizations I've collaborated with include the Open Door Group, United Way of the Lower Mainland, BC Access Awareness Day, the Adult ADHD Centre, and more. I've written three books, including the best-selling Calgary Book of Everything, a commemorative memoir with legendary tattoo artist Paul Jeffries, and Road Rage, a chronicling of a troublesome aspect of car culture.

I built relationships through networking, newsletter campaigns, and ongoing outreach. It was a rewarding experience collaborating with clients from various private and public sectors in identifying their marketing objectives and offering compelling solutions through the power of video storytelling. I crafted the social media presence for Conversations that Matter, an in-depth interview program with thought leaders on the issues shaping the future of BC, hosted by award winning journalist Stu McNish.

Reviewed film, music, and literature for Calgary’s leading entertainment publication. Researched and produced feature articles related to Calgary’s growth. Managing editor for the first annual FFWD Arts guide, working closely with a team of writers and photographers to meet a tight deadline.

I worked at the dynamic Calgary office of this groundbreaking photo agency shortly after their purchase by Getty Images. I Implemented fast paced communications to a savvy community through website copy, newsletter messaging, and social media. I worked closely with talented designers on ad copy and promotions daily. A particular highlight was documenting the legendary "iStockalypses" in both video and feature article format as the voice of the company.
