From an early interest in environmental topics to a dedicated career in sustainability, my journey in Environmental Engineering has been driven by a desire to help my homeland, Taranto. My academic path included a Master’s degree in Defense Measures and Climatic Mitigation, where I defended a thesis on geothermal energy. This moment solidified my commitment to environmental solutions.Transitioning into the professional world, I gained valuable experience as an environmental consultant, which further ignited my interest in sustainability. My current role at ICMQ is to demonstrate the potential of various certifications, regarding recycled content, Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) and NCI Circularity Index, to a wide range of companies. The aspect I find most interesting about my current job is the possibility of being able to actively work on the implementation of new certification schemes on innovative topics and participate in UNI/ISO working groups for the development of new standards.Looking ahead, my ambition is to specialize as a Product Sustainability Project Manager. This role perfectly aligns with my expertise and passion, allowing me to drive sustainable innovations and practices within the product lifecycle.Parallel to my professional career, I am deeply passionate about fashion. I am the founder of N.Y.O.G, a brand that focuses on handmade garments and accessories. My work with N.Y.O.G allows me to blend creativity with sustainability, promoting eco-friendly fashion practices.
