I have been journalist since 1998, and I have worked as an ICT journalist since March 2005, when I started as a reporter with InformationWeek Brasil magazine and its website IT Web. During all years at IT Mídia—the company that publishes InformationWeek and CRN in Brazil—I occupied several editorial positions, such as editor-in-chief and executive editor for both brands, being responsible for content production for magazines, websites and CIOs’ events, as well as being chief of journalists and designers’ teams. In mid-2011, I decided to take a new opportunity and I accepted the position to join US-based publication RCR Wireless News as editor-in-chief for Latin American region, responsible for reporting in English news and analysis, interviewing key stakeholders. Since mid-2013, I’ve been working as a freelance correspondent for RCR Wireless News covering Latin American wireless market. Also, I’ve been working as a freelance journalist with assignments for several business and trade media, as well as producing content for events, being chairman and panel moderator at several trade conferences. During my career, I won three journalism prizes.
