I founded and grew MedSearch based on the premise that in a highly competitive market, recruiting executives, senior managers, and technical personnel demand industry-specific knowledge and experience — and at the time, they weren’t often available in one place. For the medical device, pharmaceutical, and biotech industry clients I served, one without the other usually resulted in an unsuccessful outcome for both them and the talent.For more than two decades, I delivered quality hires to my clients and grew MedSearch’s profitability. Then, from an idea written on the back of a napkin, Aliro was born. I founded Aliro because what I do needs to matter. That’s part of the reason we focus on healthcare — it has a direct impact on people’s lives and patient outcomes. By marrying technology with the power of referral networks, we reach hidden networks of skilled healthcare talent to help solve the enormous talent crisis facing healthcare today.
