Robert Arnakis serves as the Senior Director of Domestic and International Programs at the Leadership Institute. In this position, Mr. Arnakis provides strategic guidance and educational resources to elected officials, political candidates, and legislative staff from across the United States and abroad. Mr. Arnakis has spent two decades providing assistance and direction to national and state political parties and advocacy organizations. He has worked directly with dozens of state political parties to provide training to public-policy stakeholders, including trade associations, political candidates, and elected officials.Mr. Arnakis's experience in public policy has allowed him to develop legislative, advocacy, fundraising, and communications strategies for many organizations. Robert has a campaign staff for presidential, congressional, and municipal candidates. This unique experience has allowed him to easily connect with the thousands of aspiring officeholders from municipal, state, and federal campaigns he has trained. Many of America’s leading public policy organizations have also worked with Robert. Organizations such as the International Republican Institute, American Legislative Exchange Council, Americans for Prosperity, and State Policy Network are among the many strategic partners that have collaborated with Mr. Arnakis. Additionally, Robert has provided consultation and training for several major political parties.In addition to his domestic portfolio, Robert provides consultation to international delegations. He has previously worked with government officials and party leaders from the following countries: Iraq, Great Britain, Canada, China, India, Cambodia, Azerbaijan, Mongolia, Serbia, Nigeria, Bolivia, Nicaragua, and Peru. Recently Robert found himself training party leaders in the world’s newest democracy, Timor Leste, in Southeast Asia.
