With over 20 years of work experience in the field of civil and electrical engineering, I am a passionate and visionary leader who co-founded and currently serves as the vice president of business development for the maintenance division of Bear Electrical Solutions, Inc (BES). BES is the premiere traffic signal and streetlight maintenance service company servicing all of California. My mission is to deliver excellent, honest, professional, and customer-centric services in electrical construction and maintenance, while fostering a family culture and a commitment to our employees, customers, and business partners. I bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team, as I am fluent in Tagalog and a certified professional engineer and traffic signal electrician.In my current role, I am responsible for overseeing the regional P&L, business development, growth initiatives, and business operations of BES. I leverage my skills in manufacturing process improvement, new business development, and project planning to create and execute strategic plans, identify and pursue new opportunities, and manage key accounts and contracts. I also collaborate with multiple public agencies statewide who augment their traffic signal and streetlight needs with our services. Prior to co-founding BES, I worked as a regional manager at Siemens, where I reported directly to the president for all aspects of branch operations. Before that, I was an associate transportation engineer at the City of Fremont, where I participated in the beta testing and implementation of the city's transportation management center and the deployment of new local controllers citywide.
