In 2013 got an additional responsibility and next to running the innovation projects I was responsible for leading R&D program, which included resource planning, business cases evaluation, prioritization, initiating escalation in case planning got off track. Actively working with product managers to prepare and update product road map. I directly managed team of R&D engineers and project managers.

In April 2008 I’ve been promoted to Senior Project Manager position. I was responsible for key R&D projects running in the Special Lighting, in the field of UV-C air and water disinfection.I carried on product certification process in accordance with CE/UL/PSE/FDA/WRAS/ACS requirements. I managed cross-functional teams of experts from various countries (Poland, China, India, Korea, USA, Germany, Belgium and Netherlands) and different functions (Development, Quality, Sales, Marketing, Logistic and Purchasing). I worked in B2B model, so I frequently traveled for meetings with customers and suppliers located in Germany, India, China, Japan, Belgium, US and Netherlands.

In May 2006 I moved to another Philips factory located in Pila, to join Special Lighting Development Department as Project Manager. I was responsible there for different kind of projects, like release new products (special UV lamps for professional channel) from concept phase in to industrialization phase, transferring products between factories (Netherlands-Poland), cost reduction projects, quality improvement projects.

I’ve been working for Philips in Ketrzyn (Poland) as Designer/Component Engineer in Development Department since May 2003. My key responsibilities were design (AutoCAD, SolidEdge 3D) and release in production components used in electro-magnetic ballasts (such as plastic parts, insulations, contacts, thermo switches and winding wires) in accordance with IEC standards and RoHS requirements. I was leading cost reduction programs and supporting quality improvement teams. In case of component quality problem, I was taking corrective actions in cooperation with suppliers. I have done several supplier audits in Poland and abroad: winding wire (Poland, Germany, France, Lithuania and Russia); injection moulding parts (Poland); connectors (Belgium).
