* Designed and implemented Angular solutions, including a wizard framework for dynamically generating complex, multi-page UIs from config objects. Due to the separation of display and state, was able to write a headless wizard framework for comprehensively testing wizard scenarios.* Led the implementation of two Node APIs, introducing a DRYer and more testable compose pattern for route handlers. Introduced back-end unit tests.* Made technical decisions on behalf of the Onboarding team and as part of the Dev Leads committee. Pushed through the adoption of John Papa's Angular coding standards.* Built tools for the E2E framework to mock API calls, enabling E2E tests of failure scenarios.* Gave tech talks on topics including unit testing best practices, writing Gulp plugins, asynchronous coding best practices and monkey-patching Angular in production. Pushed for strict Angular coding standards and adoption of new technology on the Dev Leads committee.

• Analyzed government data (BLS, BEA, CMS, Census, HRSA) and proprietary survey data; published findings in reports for corporate clients and in articles for SI Review, SIA’s monthly magazine.• Presented current economic data and recent research during most monthly SI Report Webinars, which have an estimated 1,000 attendees.• Presented research at and led panels at conferences held by Staffing Industry Analysts and at the National Association of Locum Tenens Organizations’ annual conference.• Created a program that completely automated the analysis of various reports.• Made numerous R, VBA and Python tools to optimize my workflow, including Excel macros that formatted charts and tables into SIA house style.• Published interactive Excel tools that allowed customers to explore SIA survey data without potentially compromising respondent anonymity.• Wrote scripts to scrape and extract data from websites and PDF files. • Helped build a bank model for the Wilshire Bancorp (WIBC) initiation report by filling in the historical data from 10-Ks and 10-Qs, and preparing a first-pass forecast. Assisted with 2Q09 earnings season, writing summaries of banks’ earnings trends and updating historical data in models.• Co-authored a note covering the California budget crisis that was published and widely read by institutional clients and the media. Focused on researching the commercial real estate market in Southern California including summarizing market-level trends and data by property type, as well as gathering detailed information about the individual Asian-American banks' exposures.• Prepared a California economy primer that discusses leading, coincident and lagging indicators; it was used to frame a baseline macro-economic view for Asian-American banks.• Helped design and provided statistical support for the Capital and Reserve Adequacy Test, which ranks banks based on their asset quality, liquidity, capital levels, productivity and growth.
